Nononaut Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 11, 2026

This policy explains how ITHERSTA LLP ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use Nononaut on iOS, iPadOS, or Android, visit Nononaut's public web pages, or contact us for support.

Who we are

Nononaut is developed and published by ITHERSTA LLP, Stoney Works, 8 Stoney Lane, London, United Kingdom, SE19 3BD. ITHERSTA LLP is the data controller for the processing described in this policy. You can contact us at schilyaev.vlad@gmail.com.

Information handled by Nononaut

Game data stored on your device

Nononaut stores game saves, puzzle progress, unlocks, balances, and settings locally on your device. We do not operate a Nononaut account system or upload this game data to our own servers. Your operating system may include app data in a device backup if you enable that feature. You can remove local game data by deleting the app or clearing its data through your device settings, where supported.

Purchases and subscriptions

Apple or Google processes payments for Nononaut Unlimited. We do not receive your full payment-card details. We use RevenueCat to present purchase options, validate purchases, restore access, and determine whether Nononaut Unlimited is active.

RevenueCat may process:

  • a random, app-generated anonymous customer identifier;
  • device type, operating system, app version, and the last time the app contacted RevenueCat;
  • products viewed or purchased and purchase, subscription, entitlement, and renewal status;
  • an Apple receipt or Google purchase token and related transaction information; and
  • country or region information supplied by the store or inferred from a network address.

We do not give RevenueCat your name or email address, and Nononaut does not use a custom account identifier. RevenueCat processes this information for us as described in its privacy policy. Apple and Google also handle store and payment information under their own privacy terms.

Crash diagnostics

Nononaut uses Sentry to find and fix crashes and serious technical errors. A diagnostic report may contain a stack trace, error messages, timestamps, app and operating-system versions, device model and state, locale, and network information such as an IP address. Reports can also contain technical application state present when an error occurs. We configure Sentry not to send default personally identifying fields, and we do not use Sentry for advertising or session replay.

Sentry processes diagnostic information for us as described in its privacy policy.

Support messages

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, attachments, device and app details, and any store transaction or anonymous customer identifier you provide. Please do not send payment-card details, passwords, or unrelated sensitive information.

Public web pages

Our static public pages are hosted by Vercel. Like most web hosts, Vercel may process request information such as your IP address, browser and device type, requested page, and request time to deliver and secure the site. See Vercel's privacy policy.

How and why we use information

We use the information described above only to:

  • provide, validate, restore, and manage purchased access;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Nononaut;
  • respond to support, privacy, and legal requests; and
  • comply with legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and store obligations.

Depending on the context, our legal bases are performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in delivering a reliable, secure app and supporting its users.

Sharing, tracking, and advertising

We share information only with the service providers and stores described above, with professional advisers when necessary, in connection with a business reorganisation, or when required by law. We do not sell personal information. Nononaut contains no third-party advertising and does not track you across apps or websites for advertising.

Retention

  • Local game data remains on your device until you delete or reset it.
  • Purchase and entitlement records are retained while needed to provide and restore access, support users, prevent fraud, and meet store, accounting, or legal obligations.
  • Crash reports are retained according to our Sentry workspace settings and are removed when they are no longer needed for diagnosis, security, or legal obligations.
  • Support correspondence is retained while we handle the request and for a reasonable period afterward for follow-up, dispute, security, and legal purposes.

International transfers

Our service providers may process information outside your country. Where required, we rely on contractual and other safeguards provided by those services for international transfers.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, and to receive a portable copy of information you supplied. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on it. These rights can be subject to legal exceptions.

Contact us at schilyaev.vlad@gmail.com to make a request. Purchase information is usually anonymous, so include a relevant App Store or Google Play transaction identifier if you want us to locate it. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. In the United Kingdom, this is the Information Commissioner's Office.

Children

Nononaut does not knowingly ask children to provide personal information. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Nononaut, its service providers, or applicable requirements change. We will publish the revised policy here and change the date above.
